T\u00f6bb mint m\u00e1sf\u00e9l \u00e9vsz\u00e1zadnyi sz\u00fcnetel\u00e9s ut\u00e1n, 1718-ban bizonyos R\u00e1thy Gergely \u00e9s feles\u00e9ge tekint\u00e9lyes ingatlanokat adom\u00e1nyozott a pl\u00e9b\u00e1nia fel\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1ra, s a templom \u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9t is elrendelt\u00e9k. A templom fel\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9nek pontos d\u00e1tuma nem ismert, de 1809-ben m\u00e1r b\u0151v\u00edt\u00e9sre szorult. Ekkor \u00e9p\u00fclt a tornya is.
